Compensation: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour, plus overtime ($55,000 to $75,000 per year)

Job Overview

Our client, an established and rapidly growing renewable energy provider, is looking for a Solar Site Surveyor to support the company’s growing demand for residential solar installations. This person will be a key member of their site survey division in ensuring the efficient and timely completion of solar installations based on their survey results and feedback. This Solar Site Surveyor role is a full-time, permanent position with our client.

Job Responsibilities

• Traveling to customer locations across the New York City metropolitan area to conduct and complete site surveys
• Obtaining and gathering relevant data, such as utility and permitting details
• Obtaining aerial and/or satellite imagery of customers’ homes and performing shade analyses
• Taking and collecting photographs of customers’ homes
• Assessing customers’ electrical systems and roofing conditions
• Uploading all pertinent information into the company’s system
• Coordinating with customers, solar designers, roofers, and other internal stakeholders
• Ensuring safety standards are met and adhered to

Successful Candidates Must Have:

• At least one year of recent solar site survey experience
• Basic electrical knowledge and familiarity with NEC
• The ability to work at heights
• The ability to work in various weather conditions
• A valid driver's license
• An OSHA certification

Compensation & Benefits:

• This Solar Site Surveyor role is a full-time, permanent role with a wage of $25.00 to $35.00 per hour, plus overtime ($55,000 to $75,000 per year)
