Job Overview
Our client, an established and rapidly growing renewable energy provider, is looking to bring on for a Solar Foreman to lead a new installation crew in support the company’s growing demand for residential solar installations. This person will be a key member of their field operations division in ensuring the completion of new solar installations. This Solar Foreman role is a full-time, permanent position with our client.
Job Responsibilities
- Traveling to customer locations across the New York City metropolitan area to install residential solar project components and equipment including (but not limited to): racking, railing, modules, inverters, optimizers, and communication equipment
- Communicating directions to the installation crew members
- Creating daily and weekly work plans for crew members
- Coordinating with customers, solar designers, roofers, and other internal stakeholders
- Ensuring safety standards are met and adhered to
Successful Candidates Must Have:
- At least two years of solar foreman experience
- At least three years of residential solar experience
- The ability to work at heights
- The ability to work in various weather conditions
- A valid driver's license
Compensation & Benefits:
- This Solar Foreman role is a full-time, permanent role with a yearly salary of $40-50/hour
