Compensation: $25.00 to $32.00 per hour, plus overtime
Job Overview
Our client, a national, high-growth solar energy provider based in TX that focuses on commercial and residential solar and battery energy storage projects, is looking to bring on a number of experienced Site Surveyors to support their increased volume of projects across the area. This role is a full-time position with our client.
Job Responsibilities
- Traveling to job locations across Illinois (mainly the Chicagoland area) to conduct and complete site surveys
- Obtaining and gathering relevant data, such as utility and permitting details
- Obtaining aerial and/or satellite imagery of customers’ homes and performing shade analyses
- Taking and collecting photographs of customers’ homes
- Assessing customers’ electrical systems and roofing conditions
- Uploading all pertinent information into the company’s system
- Coordinating with customers, solar designers, roofers, and other internal stakeholders
- Ensuring safety standards are met and adhered to
Successful Candidates Must Have:
- At least two years of recent solar site survey experience
- Basic electrical knowledge and familiarity with NEC
- The ability to work at heights
- The ability to work in various weather conditions
- A valid driver's license
- An OSHA certification
Compensation & Benefits:
- This Solar Site Surveyor role is a full-time, permanent role with a wage of $25.00 to $32.00 per hour, plus overtime
