Job Overview

Our client, a high-growth, national solar company specializing in community solar projects, is looking to bring on a Sales Team Lead to focus on their Central Maine market. This hire will be a key member of the company's sales division and will play a pivotal role in its continued and rapid growth. This Sales Team Lead role is a full-time, permanent position with our client.

Job Responsibilities

• Leading from the front - Training, mentoring, and leading a team of field sales representatives.
• Engaging with the community - Educating customers on the benefits of community solar programs
• Conducting consultations - Travelling across the service area to meet with owners and small business and conducting consultative meetings regarding solar programs and services
• Product Knowledge: Staying up-to-date on the latest developments in solar energy and community solar offerings.
• Achieving Sales Targets: Meeting and exceeding clear goals by converting potential customers into enthusiastic community solar subscribers

Successful Candidates Must Have:

• Outside (door-to-door) sales experience with a track record of success
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Energy sales and knowledge of solar, renewable energy, and/or community solar programs is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required

Compensation & Benefits

• This Solar Representative role has a yearly compensation of: $50,000 per Year Salary + Uncapped Commission; $150,000+ Overall Compensation
