Compensation: $65.00 to $85.00 per hour, plus overtime and per diem
Job Overview
Our client, a top-5 fastest-growing solar company in the nation that focuses on the development, engineering, procurement, and construction of commercial solar projects, is looking to bring on multiple Commercial Solar Foremen / Lead Electricians to support a large volume of solar projects being built throughout the United States in 2026. This is a full-time, permanent role with our client.
Job Responsibilities
- Travelling to project sites across the nation
- Supervising crew members to ensure responsibilities are carried out efficiently and effectively
- Submitting order requests for materials and equipment, and overseeing and ensuring the procurement, maintenance, and installation of all electrical components
- Creating weekly job plan with crew responsibilities and objectives
- Identifying and mapping obstructions
- Planning and installing electrical and conduit runs and interconnections
- Testing and commissioning the systems
- Installing inverters (experience SolarEdge and other three phase inverters is a plus)
- Installing any additional systems, such as energy monitoring and communication systems
- Ensuring all safety standards are met and adhered to
Successful Candidates Must Have:
- At least 5 years of AC electrical experience on commercial solar projects
- Experience with three-phase, 480 volt systems (or higher)
- Experience with power/utility shutdowns
- The ability to lift upwards of 50 pounds
- Willingness to travel 100% of the time
- Communication, collaboration, and detail-orientation skills
Compensation & Benefits
- This Commercial Solar Foreman / Lead Electrician role has an hourly wage of $55.00 to $70.00 per hour, plus overtime and per diem
