Job Overview
Our client, an established and rapidly growing renewable energy provider, is looking to bring on a Electrical Supervisor to oversee all electrical field crews in support of the company’s growing demand for solar installations. This person will be a key member of their field operations division in ensuring the timely and efficient completion of electrical service jobs. This Electrical Supervisor role is a full-time, permanent position with our client.
Job Responsibilities
- Traveling to job locations across the New York City metropolitan area
- Overseeing and supporting electrical field crews to ensure daily operations run efficiently and jobs are completing correctly and efficiently
- Ensuring all electrical work adheres to NEC regulations and pass NYC DOB inspections
- Utilizing extensive electrical knowledge to guide electrical crew members and help resolve technical challenges
- Conducting quality assurance inspections to confirm all work meets company and industry standards
- Acting as the primary point of contact between electrical field crews and upper management, providing clear communication and updates
- Ensuring safety standards are met and adhered to
Successful Candidates Must Have:
- At least 5 years of residential electrical experience
- Experience supervising electrical crews in a supervisor or superintendent capacity
- Experience with solar installation and service projects
- Extensive experience and knowledge of NYC Department of Building codes and regulations
- A valid driver's license
Compensation & Benefits:
- This Electrical Supervisor role is a full-time, permanent role with a wage of $50 to $65 per hour, plus overtime
