Compensation: $100,000 to $150,000 per year
Job Overview
Our client, one of the fastest-growing commercial solar engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) companies in the nation, is looking to bring on an Electrical Engineer to support their growing volume of commercial solar projects across the nation. This role is a full-time position with our client.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the engineering aspects of commercial solar projects, including (but not limited to): system design, equipment selection, interconnections, and system performance
- Perform quality control on electrical plan sets while confirming designs are compliant with electrical codes.
- Create layouts and single-line diagrams
- Engage with customers and third-party engineers
- Assess engineering risks and provide recommendations to overcome challenges.
- Support the creation of engineering standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Support solar installation process by providing technical guidance assisting field resources.
Successful Candidates Must Have:
- Experience engineering and designing commercial solar projects.
- Experience with rooftop, carport, and BESS systems design
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Extensive knowledge of National Electric Code
- Experience with AutoCAD and PVsyst
