Job Overview

Our client, an established and growing renewable energy provider, is looking to hire an Assistant Solar Electrician to support and assist with residential solar installation projects. This Assistant Solar Electrician role is a full-time, permanent position with our client.

Job Responsibilities

• Traveling to customer locations across the New York City metropolitan area
• Assisting with residential solar installation projects including light non-solar electrical work, installing inverters, completing line taps, installing battery energy storage systems, bending conduit, and pulling wires
• Ensuring safety standards are met and adhered to

Successful Candidates Must Have:

• At least 2 years of electrical experience on solar projects
• Completion of an electrical trade school program is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• This Assistant Electrician role has an hourly wage of $20-30/hr
