Job Overview
Our client, an established and growing renewable energy provider, is looking to hire an Assistant Electrician to support and assist with residential electrical projects. This Assistant Electrician role is a full-time, permanent position with our client.
Job Responsibilities
- Traveling to customer locations across the New York City metropolitan area
- Assisting with residential electrical projects including main panel upgrades, service upgrades, and main panel relocations
- Assisting with the electrical aspects of solar installation projects, including (but not limited to): installing inverters, completing line taps, installing battery energy storage systems, bending EMT conduit
- Ensuring safety standards are met and adhered to
Successful Candidates Must Have:
- At least 2 years of electrical experience
- Completed an electrical trade school program
- Previous solar experience is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- This Assistant Electrician role has an hourly wage of $18-23/hr
